When I turned 29 in November, I created a 30 before 30 list. Only I can’t remember everything that I put on the list off the top of my head. Since I already have 30 goals, I figured I can focus on just a few of them really well and use those as my resolutions. Good idea, huh? Yeah, I’m filled with great ideas. I have 30 of them scribbled on a piece of paper somewhere.
One of my goals is to read 30 books. This particular goal is important because I don’t read as much as I would like to these days. So I’m going to try my best to accomplish this goal. So far I’ve read 3 books. I just have a billion more to go! And if you have any book recommendations for me, please comment below. I love reading romantic comedies and nonfiction but I’m open to other genres.
Another goal I have is to run a 5k. I’m not a runner but I’ve always wanted to be one. This doesn’t work well with my love/hate relationship with cardio. And I figure a 5k is a good place to start, and I can start training for it (do people train for 5k’s?) when spring rolls around.
And, finally, from my 30 before 30 list that’s probably crumbled on the floor somewhere, write and FINISH writing a book. This idea has been planted in my head since I was 13-years-old. And it only seems appropriate to accomplish this goal before I turn 30!
If my other dreams can come true like traveling and meeting Mariah Carey, then all of my dreams can come true. Right?
Of course, Priya. You can do anything you set your mind to! You’re the greatest! And so pretty!
Aww shucks. Thanks, you guys!
Speaking of travel – I unfortunately don’t have many travel goals for 2017 as I don’t have travel money. But, hopefully, I might be able to do a few small trips (fingers crossed!). For now, I will continue to tell you tales from that magical time I was in New Zealand.
Stay tune, my dears.
